This is an enthusiast forum and NO ONE from Akai comes here these days.Written in Perl, AWStats can be deployed on almost any operating system. Most of us waited years for them to properly implement MIDI for external gear, and that only arrived in 2.8 barely two months ago - literally almost 5 years since this new generation of MPC's appeared in the form of the Touch.įor feature requests, it's best to hit up Akai direct (either from their Get Satisfaction forum, or through their social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, etc). For reference, we've been waiting years for more standalone plugins, and they've teased as much (such as a new Drum Synth as well as the Hype Synth from the Force line) for longer than most can remember, but still they haven't delivered. The problem is that it doesn't seem like Akai feel that it's a popular enough request to make it happen. The entire (current) MPC line all have a large display that can handle animations just fine. I totally agree that this would be a fantastic feature. I could just use my computer but I really don't like doing that anymore than I have to. I'm big on using my ears but I think we can all agree that having a visual aid comes in handy sometimes when our rooms and ears are playing tricks on us. Just one simple one that shows the master output signal frequencies. Anyway, do you think if enough of us want/request this they may do it? I wouldn't even need it as a vst. I know they probably couldn't put one with crazy graphics in there, but just a simple no frills analyzer would be great. Just got my X and the one within the past 2 months (my first journey into the MPC world and loving it) the only thing I am missing is a spectrum analyzer. Not quite sure where to or how to send requests to Akai, but it would be great to have a spectrum analyzer in MPC stand-alone. Like I said, first time posting in a forum and not quite sure how these things work or if I even posted this in the proper place.Īny advice or suggestions for a MPC Newbie would be great.ĬraigDaubBeats wrote:This is my first time posting in any forum.
